Does your massage therapy program have smaller class sizes?

I have been wanting to enroll in a massage therapy school for some time but I have never been one to like larger class sizes. I feel lost and am not brave enough to ask questions or participate because there are too many people in the class. Does I.C.A.T. offer smaller class sizes?

Yes we offer Smaller Class Sizes. This allows us to Give More Personal Attention To Each Student

The intentionally smaller class size (maximum of 12 students per class) gives more personal attention to each student. The fast-track and highly efficient method of instruction allows for not only the best return on investment, but also the lowest actual program cost of any massage therapy program.

It is rare in most Schools to even see the Dean, but at I.C.A.T. students receive direct instruction and personal support from the Dean of the School - Shirlee. Shirlee takes the time to get to know her students personally and cares about them as a person both during the program and after graduation. She also ensures that the Massage Therapy Diploma program builds the skills graduates can take anywhere.

Other advantages of the smaller class size and personal attention are that students receive prompt feedback on tests and assignments as well as immediate and ongoing feedback on practical work. Students have the option of group or individual work in seminar settings. Job shadowing in real world settings with mentors who may become employers is an integral part of the course work.

Our massage therapy program offers you a concentrated, focused massage therapy education in a smaller class size to give you the maximum value for your education dollar. We value your time and privacy and know that every student is unique, so we don’t do mass information sessions – Shirlee will see you in person.

In order to help you learning, we believe that the smaller class size (maximum 12 students per class) provides plenty of direct interaction and supervision between students and teachers.

We Also Offer Additional Support for Graduates and Alumni

Post- Graduate Courses – We offer a variety of courses on a rotating schedule. Post-Graduate courses will earn Continuing Education Units for the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia.

Alumni and Student Services – We still care about you after you graduate! Graduates are entitled to discounted rates for student clinic and post graduate courses. We maintain a Job-Posting list for graduates seeking employment.

Academic Counselling and Tutoring – We will help wherever possible through personal or group tutorials, (theory or practical) either with instructors or senior students. We include mock entrance-to-practice examinations each term.
